Nothing leaves the device

Detection runs entirely on the device, using Apple's image analysis and a small on-device model. There is no processing server, no account and no upload. Crash reporting is off unless the user turns it on.

Redaction that removes the content

Exported PDFs are rebuilt from flattened page images. Each output page is a single image and no text is written to the file, so nothing survives behind a mask to be selected, copied or extracted.

That is the difference between real redaction and a black box drawn over text that is still there.

Metadata is stripped

Hidden metadata, including location, camera model and capture date, is removed from every exported file.

Licensing for managed devices

The App Store version unlocks its full feature set through an in-app purchase. Apple does not support in-app purchases with volume purchasing or on managed devices, so for organizations we provide a pre-unlocked build, licensed to you and distributed privately through your Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager account.

Pricing is agreed per organization. The free App Store version can also be assigned through Apple Business Manager today. It redacts with solid black masks, without the features that need the in-app purchase.

Redacted runs on Apple platforms. A Windows version is not available yet; join the Windows waitlist to hear when it is.
