About Redacted
Redacted lets you easily blur, pixelate, or black out parts of an image online — without being tracked and without uploading anything.
What people are saying
"This is a super easy online tool to edit your images quickly. It lets you blur, pixelate and blackout a specific part on the picture. The best thing is you won't need to install anything and can perform your task in a super-easy way without much knowledge of Photoshop."
"Do you want to make a section of a photo unrecognisable — e.g. a face or a car licence plate — before you publish or distribute it via social media? There are many online tools that enable you to do this, but Redacted makes this easy."
Will you have access to my image?
No. The image you "upload" is never sent to a server. All the magic happens directly in your browser, which means Redacted also works offline.
How do I use Redacted?
Open an image, drag to select the area you want to mask, and pick a style — black box, pixelate, blur, or emoji. When you are happy, download the result or copy it straight to your clipboard. The full walkthrough is on the guides page.
